i dunno if anyone reads from this anymore but - i shall update. hahaha

YEAH! SEABASS IS BACK IN SINGAPORE AND HE HAD AN ACCENT!!
apparently - if he doesn't speak that way, those aussies can't understand him. =_="

anyway, jas, ray, bryan and i went to the airport to pick him up from the airport. it was going to be a surprise for him cuz we told him we were all busy and stuff.

we had a plan when we were T3's TCC. our initial plan was to hide there then when sebas walks pass us after collecting his luggage; the four of us will wave frantically to attract his attention! upon seeing us, it will be so surprised!! and he shouldn't believe that he is actually seeing us pick him up!! total drama lah!

we looked totally comical because we were all damn freaking excited!! we were practically fusing our faces into the planes to have a better look. i tot my neck was going to break from the strain.

False alarm on the left. bloody hell - got us so excited. and the stupid thing was that we all agreed readily that he MUST BE SEBAS!! Do you spot a promising young man walking in the photo on the right? lol...

we spotted him!! at this point onwards - F*** those stupid curtains.

OI OI OI!! come back!! you are limping in the wrong direction!!

when we spotted sebaz pulling his little suitcase and walking AWAY from us! we were like 'NO NO NO!! this way this way!!' the dishearted four of us had to abandon our perfect plan A and just walk up to him to surprise him.

the only problem in our plan? he simply zeroed in on his family who was at the gate away from TCC. we were in a place which was totally out of his path. zzzz.

but he was very happy to see us lah. that poor boy was limping his way to the arrival hall lor. next time beware of oyster shells. those little devils.. tsk tsk tsk...

we went separate ways and met up at clementi to have supper. gangyi was just in time to join us too! the six of us fitted the round tables nicely lah!! its like family reunion! woots. sebas was hungry for loads of local food. the rest of us were hungry and so we ordered ALOT of food. yeah! happy!! yak yak yak. laugh laugh laugh. *smiles*

his face is back! hahaha

next up - mahjong!! beach! drinks! food! fun-filled activities!! muahahhaha =D

maybe we will met again soon to play ball? after someone removes his stitches that is.

Ah Tam's farewell

anyway i just realised that i forgot to blog about ah tam's farewell party. sigh~ the softball alumni is shrinking because our third base man has gone to join our fellow second base man, Sebez, in aussie to study. sigh.. so sad right..

so the F2 ogls and softballers jointly organised a potluck farewell party for him! we had pasta, fried chicken, BOOBOO cake from NYDC, durian puff, sushi etc. we had so much food that we ended up playing games to force people to eat up the leftovers. while we were not trying to force people to eat two pieces of chicken when they are already bursting at their seams; our 'food fusion' dishes are really a cross between several types of food. lol. i think the food photos are with someone else. oh well..

friends who attended include: bryan, rayson, jasmine, yingxiang, yongshen, fabius, desmond, gangyi, me, kangwei, derek and ah tam of course! We had the whole tent to ourselves... and thank god could accommodate our two tables of food because it was raining!

it was damn funny to see them struggling when the guys decide it would be fun to dunk people. i know it's ah tam's farewell party but Yongshen was the first one to hit the water. hahaha and unfortunately, he was wearing white pants that day. *BLUSH* on our way to the 2nd pool, everyone was on high alert and ready to run at the first sign of trouble! its is kinda funny to can see everyone trying to avoid the inevitable. hahahaha.

amongst the guests, only jas, yingxiang and i were dry. hohoho. girls dun usually get dunked.

we were chased out of the 1st poolside because the residents complained about us, even when we were already whispering and trying to supress our giggles. aiyo~ it was only 10.30pm you know? i don't think singaporeans sleep so early lor.

the video below is roughly the summary of the people dunked that day. damn funny when i viewed it. thanks yongshen for the hard work! lol. everyone was so high because of the adrenaline running in their blood.

hopefully when everyone comes back for, we can have a gathering again. =D i miss hanging out with the softballers!

Yeah the softballers and F2 ogls meet again! people who turned up include Jasmine and Rayson, Bryan, Junhan, Pearl, Yongshen and I!

our favourite place to meet is TIMBRE~! music - ok. pizza - not bad. ambience - pretty nice. company - absolutely wonderful!

prize presentation. hmm i wonder who is the shy girl hiding her face with her hands??

Rayson wants to eat his present?! tsk tsk tsk... bad boy!! i know it looks absolutely lovely but it's wood lah. cannot eat!

timbre's many many nice thin crust pizza is a better choice! eat pizza with loads of cheese!

yuyin and the birthday girl!! woohoo! very tanned and pink! woots!

softballers and f2 ogls were present. i wanted to put more pictures but then the group photos were with someone else. tsk tsk tsk. why never send arh? anyway, since the theme was hawaii! lets see who was the most hawaii-ish?

these two flower boys. lol. this is the pink-iest i have ever seen rayson. lol. but what to do? its her pink princess's birthday!

actually bryan was the 'star' of the night because of a special reason. everyone present should know!

hahaha i haven't gotten his permission to put up the photos so i will leave it out first. lol. everyone was laughing at his manly abs. tsk tsk tsk. more guys should have manly abs like him! hee hee..

anyway i was a great chance for everyone to meet up and man, its been quite some time since we met up. everyone is just B.U.S.Y. we don't even go timbre together anymore. tsk tsk tsk.

on the topic of timbre.. what is a 21st birthday party without some alcohol?

hahaha no lah. alcohol is not a must - just that there happened to be alchol around. anyway - this is really really nice! all of us were like drinking and drinking! coffee layered liqueur. we ran out of cups, so we used bowls. that was so wu-xia. and after you drink, you are supposed to those the bowl behind.

the event ended with everyone toasting to jasmine. eh - i personally don't really like jim beam but never mixed jim bean with green tea. it is just WEIRD!

ok this is a rare entry that is about the 03 - 04 seniors.
Event : alicia's 21st birthday party.

people who attended: weiqi, kuanhuey, chinyeow, rayan, zhengqi, theodric and me

hahaha it was a simple affair and we were the last people to leave the house. we gave her a photo ablum with our faces in it. haha actually its all our faces lah. guys, girls, with and without clothes. lol. we are a crazy bunch then. we took more than 100 photos over the span of the tournement games. my softball album will testify that. haha..

anyway the intended plan was to go club that night but it seems that not everyone wanted to go and for what reasons i can't remember - we ended in alicia's room playing cards and truth or truth.

i think it was the most awkward truth or truth session i have ever been too. totally but what happens in the room stay in the room. haha.. damn i miss everyone. by the way, don't you think some of the guys look different. but the most shocking news that dat was that haoran went for 'comestic surgery'. the new haoran is supposed to look like WU ZUN. words from a horse's mouth named zhengqi.

actually i think it was 'corrective' surgery, rather than 'cosmatic'. ouyang billy has done it before and everyone says that he did it for cosmatic reasons. i saw haoran once after that birthday party. yeah his jaw is different and resembles WU ZUN alittle because of his face shape and features from the nose and below.. but i think my perception might not be very accurate. hahaha.

ok that ends my monologue now. tata.

OH MAN! I JUST REALISED THAT THIS IS THE LAST YEAR THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL INCLUDED IN OLYMPICS! ARGH!! THERE ARE NOT HAVING IT FOR THE 2012 SUMMER GAMES!! *SOBS*

bryan, jasmine and rayson were there to send him off. i was supposed to be there too but then mom needed help with the CNY preparations. but i did call him to wish him all the best. but that boy arh - told me he had already checked in when he hasn't done so yet!! so evil lah. made me panic abit since jas and ray were still on their way to the airport..

the three musketers of jj softball. lol. too bad rayson was wearing purple. if he was wearing black - then the caption would read: MEN IN BLACK. lol.

the first softballer to celebrate his/her 21st this year was ZOE POW TIAN SI. her actual birthday is actually on 31st of March though. a few days shy and she probably wouldn't see this but still..

haha the people present that day were ahtam, gangyi, chinya, jas, ray, bryan and i! for the whole party - the softballers very much spent time in the karaoke room, separate from the rest of the guest in the function room.

i must say this - gangyi always knows how to make us laugh man. if not, he just seems to know how to land himself into funny situations.

zoe's relatives wanted to sing KTV so they joined us in the room. they brought their own dvds and mic. i have no idea what came over gangyi but he decided to say something along the lines of: "oh i know this song 'ai bia jia eh ya'. i know how to sing that song."

then suay suay, the first song of the first dics was that particular song. hahaha everyone in the room was trying to get gangyi to sing!!!! hahaha gangyi seriously panicked sia!! and everyone laughed even harder when he desperately tried to escape the room and recline the 'offer' to sing. he really broke into cold sweat sia.. he eventually found a way to slip out off the room when no one was guarding the door. hahaha.

parden me but 'ai bia jia eh ya' is a hokkien song. it's chinese hanyu pinying should be 'ai ping cai hui yin'. i am still waiting for zoe to send the rest of the photos we took. hahaha. will post them up when i get them =) do continue to come to this blog ok! please take note of the notices on the right of the blog.

hahaha i see that our dear my sebaz chua still comes here regularly.

in an attempt to revive this blog - i have decided to blog about some super super outdated events. the most recent meet up was at zoe's birthday party. but that will be updated at a later date!

Sebaz with our song dedication =) the singer mis-pronounouced his name as sea-bass. tsk tsk tsk.. lol.

barely gone for more than 2 months and we are already missing him.. tsk tsk tsk.. taking photos of food is not longer the same without his face trying to hog the limelight. Yes - if you still don't know yet, our beloved driver/drinking buddy/mahjong khaki is several hours away in aussie!! he is there to purse his veterinary degree.

we being good and nice people - of course must send him off with our well-wishes and lots of alcohol! ho ho ho.. people present for the event: mingcheng, zoe, jasmine, rayson, bryan, ah tam, me, pearl, shimei, junhan, jinglin, melissa - last but not least Sebastian Chua~!

last but not least, sebaz with our beloved coach, Mingcheng. haha our mingcheng is now fully pursue his career! businessman in the making sia..

For those of you who still do not know, our dear Sebas (Jr.) is flying off to Aussie on the 6th of Feb at ~~God-knows-what-time~~ Sebas-refuses-to-let-us-know-time.

But...
From our previous outing to Timbre @ Arts House...
Rayson and I gathered that we should meet at about 930pm at Terminal 3. :)

Well... 6th of Feb is also Chinese New Year's eve. This means most of us are gonna be having our reunion dinner. So, those who can make it just come k.
Er... Frankly speaking, no guarantee that we'll be able to send him off.
But still, worth a try! :)

So yea... Just give Rayson/Me a call when you get to T3 k!

Sigh... I am so gonna miss Sebas (and his rubbish)... >.<

FRIDAY NIGHT WAS A BLAST.
small and cosy drinking with the peeps. its been a very long time since i last saw any of them. hmmm.. everyone's so busy. anyway timbre was super crowded.

People who attended: Bryan, Sebaz, Jinglin, Rayson, Jasmine, Junhan and me. we also invited non-sballers - Junwei and Yuyin.

we had alot of food and someone was very happily eating and posing for the camera~! lol

half eaten caramel porkchop. i think they changed the chef or something cuz it tastes abit different. but the mash potate is still good~!

this is our kamikaze shoots. nice~! it has a very fruity taste to it. and they had this cool acrylic test tube holder. lol. for a moment i was very scared it was going to be damn bitter. cuz it looks like its pure alcohol. but i still love the sweet shoots from iguana the most. lol.

yoz. its been along time since i came up here to blog..

and i cannot believe how hot the weather is these days. i was anticipating cool breeze to accompany us when we can have training but i was disappointed.. standing at bus stops at 12pm feels like i am standing in the desert. i practically shun daylight - going out of the house only to go to school and to buy lunch/breakfast. yes, i am damn weak..

since school has started - everyone is super duper busy. presentations, tutorials, readings, projects and tests eeks! i bet those in NUS, NTU and SMU are like half dead under the pile of work.

if needed scream your lungs out like that orange to release some of that stress..

anyway i realised that some of the 86 girls are on their way to graduation soon. oh my god. that is super fast. *gulps* it's a matter of time before they graduate and have to spend the next 40-50 years of their lives slogging their lungs, heart and kidneys to earn a living.

so in the last lap of your student life - LIVE WELL, LOVE MUCH, LAUGH OFTEN.

Bryan, Gangyi, Coach, Bao Yue, Rayson and I headed down to NUH this evening to visit Sebas Jr.

He just had an op for his ligament.

He like things sweet, so we chose Birds' Nest instead of Chicken Essence.

Attendance for today was... well, just 5 of us (as the title suggests)...
Sebas and Bryan were the earliest ;
Rayson and I were next ;
Gangyi was latest.

Doesn't really matter who arrived first or last cuz it's just the 5 of us.

I guess only a few words could describe how we felt the entire morning :
'disappointment', 'sian diao', 'exhausted'...

Oh well...
We ended training at about 11am.
Settled down on the field to talk to each other.
It's good to feel the breeze and catch up with each other. :D

We then decided to head to IKEA at 1130-ish for brunch, and to check out some stuff we could get to DIY our equipments.

We had a very very full-filling brunch.
Our stomachs went from STARVING to STUFFED.
LOL

The 5 of us shared 30 Swedish meatballs.
Gangyi had salmon ;
Sebas, Bryan and Rayson had nasi ~~padang~~ goreng ;
Sebas also had cream of chicken soup ;
I had the (kids') spaghetti set ;
Rayson and I shared salmon too.

Imagine all that food we ate...
Guess we wasted time training and losing calories! LOL

We ended up walking around IKEA feelings absolutely stuffed.

We saw chair cushions which are really suitable to be bases.

This costs $7.90.

This costs $5.90.

There were others that cost $9.90, $3.90, 1.90.
(Yes, prices getting cheaper.)
BUT, they were not really suitable cuz of size and thickness.

We're still gonna look out for more before really buying.
AND, if attendance is gonna be like this...
No point buying equipments either.
Sigh...

We were really happy walking around IKEA.
Felt like the 5 of us were shopping for furniture to live together.
I wouldn't mind that! :D

At the end of the shopping trip...
We decided that...
We'll put the chair cushions in trash bag before using them, then just throw the bags away.
We'll also DIY the backstop using bamboo poles, fishing net and something else which I forgot.

Tam has the pitcher plate ;
Sebas has the catcher equipment and 2 bats ;
Gangyi has 1 bat,
Bryan has the softballs.

So what we need for training to be done properly are...
1. (Most importantly) PEOPLE
2. Bases
3. Helmets

Then, when everything and everyone are more regular...
We can start getting PROPER equipments.

So PLEASE, come for trainings...
I don't know if the few of us can keep our enthusiasm if this is the kinda attendance we're getting... ):

National Day Outing

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY EVERYONE~!
anyway, i am back from the softball outing.

oh man the games at Minds cafe were really fun! we were quite high but the other tables were WILD. i think you must know what games to choose. anyway the people present were Jasmine, Rayson, Bryan, Gangyi, Junhan and me. hehehe i think we can go there again soon. Its not expensive anyway.

dinner was at Brewerks. and we had alot of fabulous food~!
What a feast! we had 4 litres of fruit brew, Sheperd's Pie, Jabalama, BBQ combo, and Chicken Questilla. hahaha i hope i got the names right. anyway we were super full not because of the food but from the beer. damn filling la. i had 2.5 glasses. Bryan had 4. and Gangyi was very cui after his second cup. specially when we starting playing drinking games.

anyway since we were more free today, we have decided on how we are going to sort out some details. This is what we have decided on:

1. - Club position.

TRAINING CADRE: Bryan
TREASURER - Jasmine/Yuhua
QM: Gangyi/Sebaz jr

2. - How we are going to collect funds.
From the emails so far - masses' chose Option 3: $5 per month. so we have decided that this will be a monthly membership kind of thing. every month you will pay $5 - even if you only attended once or even no training that month. collection is on the LAST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH! but only for this month, funds collection will be next friday. people who have dnated, please bring your donation and this month's funds down to pay to either Jasmine or Yuhua.

3. - Equipments
The things in our possession now is 1 bat, 20 balls, 2 helmets and 1 catcher mask and 1 home plate. below are the things that we intend to buy. We will be trying our best to think of ways to make our own bases and backstop. until we are rich enough.

(according to priorty)
1. Bat x 01
2. Catcher mask and vest
3. Helmet x 02
4. First aid box
5. Team t-shirt/cap/slacks

4. Source - Where to buy
Zhengqi says that he has connections so he might be able to help us get lower prices. Meanwhile, we will need Yong Chuan, who is now in Taiwan, to help us keep a loo out for equipments. if some of the stuff is cheap enough, we can get him to help us buy!

Sorry - haven't been updating the blog lately. Decided to detach myself from the cyberworld for a while. hahaha.

For your info, the fund is open to donations. Anyone who is happy to part with a little cash to top up the softball fund can do so. Anyway i am one of the regulars so i don't mind chipping in abit more. so i will donate $30 into the fund. We will be keeping an accounts book and at the end of every 3 months, we will review the financial status of the club.

option 1: $1 per training
option 2: $2 per training
option 3: $5 per month.
option 4: Others

Bascially my vote is $5 per month. i will be passing a chain email around. members who wish to donate money need to respond to that chain email - instead email directly to the team email.

Lastly, this is the last time we are asking for opinions about handling the funds. After that, members who have not responded will follow the choice of majority.

And so, I wonder how many of you are keen on having our own equipments.

Happy Birthday Mr Rayson Lim Bock Heng!!

anyway his surprise birthday party was a blast~!
he totally had no idea!! muahaha. good!
anyway it was not a very big event but it was pretty cosy.

and wah the softballers were just crazy yesterday. we played the silent game which is similar to heart attack. just that you have to signal to others how many cards you want and exchange cards but very soon into the game, we were throwing cards on to the table and snatching cards! there were times when you literally have to tug for the cards..

the winner who got a complete set is then supposed to do some action and everyone else is to follow. and as the game progressed the stunts just became more fun. we were hiding under tables, running out of the function room and running into toilets.

i would like to say that He who Must Not Be Named has a serious problem when he gets too high - his stunts are quite stunning. Lets try to recall some of his stunts:

1. Run to another table and smack the table damn hard hence shocking everyone..
2. walking to one of rayson's relatives and shake his hand.
3. putting a chair on the table and then climbing up to sit on the chair.
and the best one being...
4. taking some of the ice cream cake and smearing it on himself.

No. 4 was a killer. all of us were stunned and then started laughing our ass off!! a normal human being would have taken the ice cream and smear it on someone else or the birthday boy at least. but he smeared himself!!

hahahhaha. oh what would we do without him to entertain us.
after that we played abit of dai de and zhong ji mi ma. and left for home.

We decided to go clubbing on the 20th July ;
AND Sentosa on the 22nd July.

We have yet to decide which club to go to, what and where to meet.

We'll meet at 10am at Harbourfront MRT (Control Station) on Sunday, 22nd July.

after that was MAHJONG and NINETENDO WII!! woohoo~! ninetendo WII is damn cool la. it totally rock my word. i have an aching right arm now cuz i was using my right arm muscles alot. =)

LIVE EARTH TODAY!

so many people wore green today. did you wear green today? i did and our blog is green too! haha ok abit no link.

anyway i think learning to conserve energy or even do our part to save the environment is very important. the other day i was watching the news and in USA, it was so hot you could fry an egg on the bonnet of the car and the road even melted! today the news was that the heat wave in US hit a record high of 47 degrees leh. in singapore, 35 and i am complaining le.. 47... OMG...

so we must love our environment. if not we would become extincted like dinosaurs. then future creatures on earth, thousands of years later will try to determine the cause of human extinction. scarly humans will one day evolve and learn to adapt to the increasing temperature on earth. maybe our bodies would start developing some body part that has self-temperature regulating function or something..

ok i digressed too much..

i realised there are people who use unidentified names on the tagboard. but i think for the courtesy of others, please use a name that we know you by. so the person who used the alias -loud-, please identify yourself. Many thanks!

TRAINING PART 1

our training group photo today =) oh so lovely. the sun was very very bright and this photo was taken in the middle of the training rather than after cuz things tend to happen nearer the end of training. man.. it was a wise choice.

why? cuz our legendary hitman has done it again and the victim was a girl (AGAIN!) cuz i think at the rate that he is going, no one will be able to overtake him. so we figured that maybe next time if anyone gets hit by him, he has to sign a ball, write the date and give it to the poor fellow.

anyway this is the poor pearl. after she got hit near her wrist. omg. her face went pale and she was giddy plus there was alittle blood. so next week we will have 2 people short since pearl wun be coming. see la.. aiyah gangyi.. next time play nice ok?! we dun have so many people for you to injure leh.

TRAINING PART 2.

after lunch, we of course had some after training activities. =) so we went to rayson's place to mahjong. muahahah the usual. people playing. hee hee but nearer the end when huiling and xiaoxuan joined the table. i think the other three legs of the table nearly collapsed while waiting for them to organise their thoughts.

talking about mahjong, i wanna digress abit. i don't think i can 'qing yi se' cuz my three consecutive attempts today all failed.even though i managed to transform all my tiles into the same suit. urgh.

rayson and jasmine and the very yummy cake. spot a deformed heart shape between them.

the most importantly agenda of the day was of course to celebrate Jas's birthday. yeah! and we had a wonderful birthday cake plus very hyper kids to entertain us. KAWAII!!

oh man. what a sunny day it was! and very hot as well. as usual WCP was bustling with activities and there was the 3G family walkaton so WCP was super packed. there were alots of little kids and old people around. we were alittle afraid that our balls would hit somebody. but one thing i like about WCP is that you get to hear free music everytime they have these carnivals. hur hur hur..

today's turn out included kuanhuey, weilun, theodric, sebaz, sebaz jr, tam, gangyi, bryan, jas, ray, yongchuan, enmin, pearl, qi hui, and me! total = 15! not too bad hor? anyway i think i don't think i left anyone out or spell anyone's name wrongly right? hahahaha. this is our group photo today~!

sia la.. everyone posing so 'yang-guan' and putting on their megawatts smiles. lol. i think darlie or cologate can get us to be spokesperson already. lol. of course all money earned in the endorsement would go into our sotball funds. we need new equipments and by then, GST will be 7%. haiz...

oops. their true colours exposed! hahaha boys will be boys.

anyway no injuries today except for some people who got hit in the shin or arms during the fielding. oh. some dog got a shock of its life when a round yellow object zoomed past its head when it wanted to pee. hahaha i think the dog will never go pee at the tree anymore, so poor thing. aiyo - mr gang doesn't even let dogs off man!

since training today was smooth, we managed to conduct a mini meeting and the verdict: we have decided to collect $1 for every week that they attend training. the money will contribute to the petrol funds and the medical bills. i think the petrol fund is more for sebaz jr since he drive the equipment around and also bring us to lunch!

anyway we tried to cam-whore in sebaz jr's car on the way home. tried a couple of shots and finally.. ta-da! glad that it turned out nice. in order from left to right. sebaz jr, yongchuan, tam, rayson, jasmine.

anyway yongchuan will be flying to taiwan on 8th of july for training! and he will be away till December? man, that's long. he will be flying in you must come back safely ok? see you again in December man! oh kuan huey is going taiwan too. have a great trip over there ok?

please note that training next week is still on and training time and place is still the same. hopefully we will still have lots of space hahahaha. then maybe when we have more people, we can do our proper warm ups and cool downs and serious training!

anyway i think in future we can come up with a proper proposal with regards to how we handle the sick and injured. or maybe come up with proper fundings so that in the event someone gets injured, there is money available. =)

in case you are concerned, the little girl who got injured is alright now.( or so she says) so no worries ok!

maybe we can have this monthly club fund or something. lets say $5 bucks a month. so 1 year, you pay $60.. then the money can be used to buy new equipment or if everyone agrees - have a chalet or something. ok? or the regular drivers can also get a petrol subsidy or something. any final decision to this proposal will be discussed in the upcoming training.

Muahahahahhaha. Today's softball training was FUNNY! If only we took a video of it!

woah. Its been a long time since there was this much rainfall. The past two weeks were pure sun and nothing but the sun. But last night's rain carried over to today and so the game was conducted in the drizzling morning rain. How rare for us to rally enough people to form two team to play - so no rain is going to stop us from playing!

We had 5 ladies from NTSS playing with us. so that we managed to form two teams - and are still able to have a slightly injured umpire and a backstop. Hahaha. So people present today include: Kuan Huey, Weilun, Saurov, Bryan, Tham, Gangyi, Rayson, Jasmine, Seaz, En Min, Joan, Xiao Xuan, Joan, Shi Mei and Derek. This us hiding for the rain while waiting for people to come.

The teams: One team was dominated by the NTSS team. That team also included Bryan, Jasmine, Xiao Xuan and Kuan Huey. while the other was practically an all-guys team: Weilun, Saurov, Tham, Gang, Enmin, Joan, Me, Rayson and Derek.

ok i shall now talk about THE MATCH. In total, we played two innings and then attempted to play a tie breaker. The entire field was pretty flooded though it wasn't muddy. Now the funny bits:

Funny Moment #1:
We batted first and GANG was our first batter. After full count, Xiaoxuan pitched a ball and so gang was given a walk. Gang, being his usual cheeky self, decided to run towards first base with arms wide open and not looking at the direction that he was running. But the problem is - he was actually running towards 2nd base!!

All of us were pretty stunned at what he was doing. Maybe he was disorientated or he was too happy that he didn't get strike out. hur hur hur. By the time he realised his mistake, it was too late - rule is that you cannot run too far away from the intented track. so... OUT!!

Derek was on base and he wanted to steal base. Naturally guys would slide when stealing bases. Man, when he slided we were like 'woohoo~! nice slide' - until we realised the grass was too slippery and he over shot. He tried to hug the base but too bad. Hahahaha. OUT!

Funny Moment #3, 4
This was shared by Weilun and Saurov who both lost their balance and fell while catching and running bases respectively.

Oh dear, i think my brother thinks i am mad or something 'cause i keep giggling to myself while typing out this entry. It probably doesn't sound very funny but it was then. *sigh* If you missed it - too bad. hahaha. Lunch was at IMM's iichban. YUMMY. but good food always tastes better with a bunch of good buddies.

While waiting super long for our lunch to be served - we told GHOST STORIES! eeks!! on the whole it was a pretty fun day with lots of laughter and fun! oops. i nearly forgot. we suffered another injury and it was caused by none other than our Wang Gang Yi! his slide home was blocked by our very brave Sijia. but she suffered an injury to her elbow. ouch... hope she is alright now. so now, the score was a tie. 3-3. we didn't even get to complete the tie-breaker inning. lol.

yoyoyo. the meeting time for tmr's game at WCP is 9.30am! don't be late!! and i hope i can wake up on time. hur hur hur.

anyway this is abit late, but i finally got the pictures for 3th june's training. hee hee. actually if you go West Coast Park regularly - especially during weekends, you see alot of japanese training. i think they go there to train for the open games at kallang.

anyway this were the people who turned up for training that day. jas, rayson, en min, sebaz, bryan, zoe and gangyi. everyone is very territorial. so we occupy this spot nearest the sand pits. anyway this entry will be photos galore.

I see that our blog is starting up very nicely! Well done, hua-zai! (:

I added the tagboard, so visitors can leave a message and keep this blog alive! Most importantly, I hope the team can be "resurrected"!

I hope to snap pix of the team at the game this Sunday.

We only have 12 players on our side for now, and 5 from NTSS. So we'll need at least 2 to make sure we have just enough to play. Let's hope we can find the 2, or more. And let's hope for good weather!

Oh yes, Gangyi will be heading back to JJ to borrow equipments. Hopefully, get at least 2 bats. Of course it'll be splendid if we can get the bases and catcher equipments!

Let's do things slow for now, and have training every Sunday as much as possible... And then, we'll see what comes next... (:

SRC CARNIVAL

This is us at padang's SRC carnival.
People present include: jas, rayson, sebaz, bryan, me, shaun, huiling, xiaoxuan, joan, derek and jing yuan and of cuz mingcheng! hahahahaha he looks pretty funny trying to pose with a cup of ice cream!!

Hopefully as the months grow by, the number of members will grow and then we can have our own jerseys, and equipment and a proper team photo! woohoo~! Isn't it exciting! okok. Baby steps first - gathering jj alumni softballers. SO PLEASE DO SPREAD THE WORD!

Anyway sunday's games were supposed to be B div games but i thought it was the JC batch playing. oops! theirs was in march. BUT if you missed the SRC games altogether - FRET NOT! This sunday's training will be a game! we are going to form a mixed team to play against NTSS girls.

Time: 10 am, 17 June 2007(Sun)
Attire: Sports wear and sunblock if you do not want to be roasted

SRC softball

yoyoyo. huahua here!!

anyway tmr there will be the SRC softball carnival. the games are at 8.30am and 12pm. the finals will be after that - though i am not sure what time the matches start. we will be having brunch at 10 then head over to padang before 12.

if i am not wrong, there will be an SRC open match next two weeks at kallang. national team will be playing, so will be NTU. =D wanna watch. then can see people play~!

so do keep your ears and eyes open on any news~!

And so, after "training" on Sunday...
We decided to create a "webpage" for US as a channel for communication.

It's gonna help the team find out bout our training dates and times, our progress, and what-nots. That's gonna include our post-training activities too!

I hope this is gonna help us have a better attendance for our trainings!

There were only 8 of us - Bryan, Gangyi, En Min, Zoe, Sebas, Yu Hua, Rayson, Jasmine.
We can't even form a team!
